Meeting Information

Council meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month commencing at 7.30pm, the exception being January when the meeting is on the second Tuesday. Members of the public are welcome to attend and the first fifteen minutes are for public participation. Members of the public cannot speak during the meeting proper.

Accounts

The underlying remit of the Parish Council is to provide for the benefit of the village through good financial management. Turners Hill Parish Council strives to make improvements to the village and to support village organisations.Following the setting of a budget for the following year a request is submitted to the District Council for the funds required, known as the Parish precept which forms a small part of the council tax. The Parish accounts are audited both by and internal independent auditor and an externally appointed auditor. The audit of accounts for the year ended 31st March 2019 has been completed and the accounts have been published. The Annual Return is available for inspection by any government elector in Turners Hill Parish on application to Isy Parker, The Ark, Mount Lane, Turners Hill, Tel. 01342 712226   email: turnershillpc@btconnect.com. Copies will be provided to any person on payment of £1.00 for each copy of the Annual Return.
